Entry level education / special licences / warrants
Although there are no specific educational requirements to work as an Attendant, a qualification at MQF Level 1 may be required by some employers.
On-the-job training is usually offered by the employer.
Knowledge and skills
Attendants are expected to have:
• Knowledge of the layout of the venue
• Cash handling skills (where applicable)
• Driving skills (where applicable)
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures
Transferable skills should include:
• Written and verbal communication skills in English and/or Maltese
• Customer care skills
• Numeracy skills
• The ability to work independently and as part
of a team
Additional qualities
These may include:
• Accuracy
